Ramblings and Works of a Tattooer

I love it when hipster 5 minutes in the industry tattooists decide to judge a whole collection of people with a sarcastic remark based on a tattoo symbol. I am in fact talking about a sweeping statement which where along the lines of it being ironic that those with inverted crosses shall be celebrating Christmas.

Firstly if this idiot knew about things he could potentially have or would tattooed on people he would know that the inverted cross is in no way an anti christian symbol. It is in fact the cross of saint peter, however mass media does associate it with Satanism due to the influence of black metal and demonic cinema. Satanist’s only use an inverted cross in a manner of hanging a crucifix upside down in disrespect to the lord Jesus Christ and is not a symbol of Satanism which the pentagram is related to and is derived from Paganism. While on this subject i must say in remark to the statement made Christmas day isn’t the birthday of Christ due to emperor Constantine having moved christian religious dates to those of Pagan holiday in a manner to unite his nation (which was predominantly christian and pagan) along with other censorship’s of the bible which created the dead sea scrolls. So with or without an inverted cross tattooed on you celebrating Christmas doesn’t matter to either party and fundamentally religion doesn’t come into the actual date, just the holiday of which it is used for.

   More to my matter is that i find the whole original statement offensive. It may as well have been ‘if you have an inverted cross tattoo you don’t have the right to celebrate Christmas’ It also riles me up that it is made my a tattooer who has clearly lost their head to their arsehole in the 1 year they have been tattooing (by tattooing i mean pretty much copying more well known tattooers such as Eckle) and believing he is above others in order to make such a statement. Whether the statement was made to cause a reaction as later stated to avoid looking like such a big dick when the knowledge or the cross’s origin was shared or just because it was. I’m fully aware that I’m biting at the bait so to speak but i don’t care. That remark was disrespectful to be made and all of the above is just a justification for a big FUCK YOU
